FOX Soccer Match Pass App Reviews

Last update was July 31, before the season started. Its November 25 now, and its just as awful as it was in June. Yet they charge $20 month. Its a joke. FOX has zero care for its customers nor any clue on the financial and commercial aspect of football (shrinking the screen for your oversized ads that make me not want to buy a Chevy truck or Sprint phone). Thanks to FIFA corruption, were stuck with this for more than a decade. Maybe in five years Ill actually be able to see a Bundesliga match legally. ESPN built this; NBC figured it out quickly; FOX threw a bunch of money at it and then stopped caring.

Its literally embarrassing that a premium subscription app would perform so poorly. Its really bad when you have to look for free online streams of games bc your paid application doesnt work at all. Fox, kindly fix this, you terrible terrible company.

I Love this app but it needs to connect to chromecast

Here I sit, wasting time writing a review, instead of watching the FA Cup fixture, like I intended. I can sign in to my PAID SUBSCRIPTION... sadly, I cant access the live games on my phone. I wish NBC Sports//Sling//ESPN would just put Fox out its misery and tie up rights to FA Cup, Champions League and Bundesliga. I cringe every time I realize the games are only available through Fox. What a waste of developer time and company $$$.

The same issues with this app have gone unaddressed for years. No multitasking when using AirPlay, as the stream stops. Theres also no auto lock override, so after leaving your phone unattended for a couple minutes, the AirPlay feed crashes when your phone locks. Ive subscribed to this service primarily through the app, and Ive had enough. Ill figure out another way to watch non-EPL LFC games and Champions League matches. Fox simply doesnt care about this service, and I will no longer pay them for mediocrity.

Outdated, video streaming limited to 480p, unreliable, no scoreboard and clock for CL games. Complete and utter garbage. The developers should be seriously embarrassed and should change careers.

Video reply works just fine, but the reason for buying a subscription is the live-streaming of matches, which is not working on my iPad. Its a ripoff.

Find a town called "Total Crap" in your GPS, look north a few miles, and youll see a place called FoxSoccer2Go, where the picture is blurry (think Colecovision video game characters) theres no scoreboard, your phone app for soccer rarely works, and yet they still charge you $20/month. It is God Awful.

So frustrating to invest in this crap app for years and you still cant get a game to stream. Years ago, I can understand that you had kinks to work out, but now, after all this time, it is still crap. Unfortunately it is a necessary app to follow your team from America, but it so often feels like a waste of money. Thanks for stealing my money.

On a 70 TV, the resolution is pretty poor. The app has been generally reliable, just wish that it looked better on TV.

For the past few weeks no archived videos are available “temporarily”. How long do we have to wait so we get at least some of our money’s worth? The web site insists on playing videos using Flash, an incredibly insecure and obsolete technology as well. It really feels like the developers don’t give a s**t if their products work, but management is fine with it since they get money from their monopolistic contracts no matter what.

How can they charge a premium monthly fee and have a completely none functioning app?

Pure garbage. I cancelled after one day because NOTHING would work.

This have great potential for a excellent soccer stream and experience. But it needs to (what I think) be fitted for 2016 and not 2003, just make it easier to navigate. Also NO ONE WANTS TO PAY $20.00 FOR THIS, so it should be made free like NBCSN and others. FOX you have the power, so make the right decisions.

I spend $125 a year for this s****. I do not give the done word no matter how many times I touch the screen. I have to hit the home button then have to clear my iPad to get the program to run again. Then the telecast repeats itself. Once it starts that, the program will do it several times in a match. I pay for this just to see the German Soccer games. Sometimes I wonder if it is worth the trouble.

GolTV was a decent service and a lot less money now FOX wants $20 for this? Just because they have a monopoly on the bundesliga doesnt mean I am willing to put up with this crap.

Almost always the on demand full match videos (and even others) "data are not currently available". What BS. It works fine on the web site, why can they not fix their stupid app. Typical monopoly situation, they got the exclusive for Bundesliga and others in the US and will get the money either way, whether the users can actually use the app or not. Someone needs to successfully sue them for breach of contract, or convince the license holders not to renew with them.

lol how do people pay $20 a month for this??? Videos dont stream in hd on a connection where xfinity/nbcsn/fuboTV apps have no issues steaming full hd. Zero audio playing on any stream, after restarting and even reinstalling the app. Good joke, Fox. Definitely cancelling before my free trial is up
