FOX Soccer Match Pass App Reviews

Crashes all the time , costumer service dont even know what they have recommend to solve the problems other than asking deleting the app and reloading it!! Dont run on background with AirPlay. Crashes , pauses while watching live steaming .sometimes it freezes up! Absolutely it is not worth it to buy that crappy app!! Would give less than one star. The costumer service dont even know what they need to know To fix the issues!!

I am streaming the champions league final pregame almost 3 hours before kickoff this app is awesome!

App is a POS. I cant watch any of the games I paid for with my $20 fox soccer subscription. Nothing loads. The interface is the worst Ive seen in a really long time. The current cups on fox sports arent even listed in the app. You cant watch game replays. Live streaming barely works. Deserves less than 1 star.

For the amount I paid for this app and streaming service I expect much better. The streaming quality is terrible and I think I got better picture quality from cable back in the 80s. And I do have very fast bandwidth. This app should also be on streaming boxes such as AppleTV, Roku etc. Yes, I can use AirPlay to my AppleTV but its a pain and the quality is not good. Lastly, FOX is just not doing a great job at running a soccer broadcast. Bad in-game commentation that takes the excitement out of the games. Bad stadium audio makes it feel like you are watching it in a bar and not a stadium. No score displayed on the screen. Pre game announcers have no idea if they are on live. Its a cluster and I could go on and on.

Pros: - Recent games available for full replay. Quality is pretty good for these. - Nice coverage of Copa America games Cons: - Biggest issue is that when using AirPlay the app isnt properly configured to stay open. So every 5 minutes it either stops playing or someone has to babysit the iPad and make sure it doesnt sleep. PLEASE FIX - App design is confusing and is not up to par for a service that costs $20 a month. - No free trial. Even one day would help. This is not a cheap app. I have not yet tested Live stream quality. If its as good as replay video then Id be fine with it.

Customer service was no help.

Terrible streaming quality. constantly reverts to lower bitrates (gets all blurry). Periodically stops for no reason. If you try to use the fast forward/reverse buttons, cross your fingers and just hope that the app doesnt crash.

Perfect app but i need app appleTv

$20 per month subscription! Was never able to watch anything live on this (couldnt even find live part of app). Customer service gave horrible directions that never worked. They ignored what I told them about navigation elements not appearing the same in my app as they said. Replays were glitchy and many were missing. UEFA Euro was missing entirely from live and replay. Idiot customer service guy asked for my username and password to try to fix the problem. Seriously, so he could permanently subscribe to all sorts of stuff, then change my email and password? Worst app Ive ever tried.

Its not perfect but Im extremely grateful to be able to watch every Bundesliga and Champions League game with this app and my paid subscription. I find it reliable.

Only good thing subscribing to this service is the amount of games available. The quality of the streams are poor and most CL games do not have scoreboards on screen. I experienced a few crashes, but just too many for it to stand out as an issue.

I first used this app 15 months ago for Womens World Cup. Despite more than a year, holding major international rights (and charging an absurd $20/month ransom), almost nothing has changed including: -Abrasive, insulting & lazy FAQ section directing you to go to website (yet they dont tell you which site nor provide link) -On Demand section completely hidden/missing -Navigation that doesnt seem to exist, complicated by a design that makes it look like there are functioning tabs (on right side) but are just Foxs 20-year-old aesthetics. -No scoreboard/clock on Champions League matches (unsure on other leagues, as I cannot access On Demand) -Missing leagues (I was excited about Aussie football, but its not even an option despite the FS2GO site promoting it) -No list of leagues they have rights to ("see website" but we know that doesnt help) -Wrong names/logos for leagues: (outdated Barclays and BBVA for starters plus an MLS logo thats two years too old) -Wont work with AppleTV. Briefly works in mirror mode, but wont stop buffering -This wouldnt be so bad if I could watch the games on TV via cable subscription (like every other quality TV app), but that costs $15/month...on top of the $20/month for online service. $35/month. $420/year. -Customer service is deplorable But Im stuck because theres no other way to watch my hometown Leicester Citys European tour. Just think: if there wasnt corruption at the top of FIFA & UEFA, we wouldnt have to deal with FOX.

Very poor video quality on any screen larger than 10".Airplay loses audio.One of the most expensive app/service with no good video and audio.

The app description claims there is video on demand ( to replay completed games). This is misleading. Relay of games is not possible on an iPad. The video on demand is only available on a computer.

Ive paid the yearly $120 for full access for 2 years. Sometimes it works well. Frequently very buggy. For 120 a year i expect MUCH better. But they control access to CL and Europa games so i dont have many options for competitor product. This app would die if there was even a reasonably interchangeable substitute. It is a decent model, but the app programmers should be thrown to the wolves. The execution is so buggy - terrible updating of games and news streams, AUDIO DOESNT WORK ON MANY GAMES, user interface is clumsy at best and frustrating usually...such a ashame....this should not be a hard app to get right....simple features, simple content, paynig usrers.... I hope a competitor teaches these guys not to take customers for granted.

Where is the sound? Im using a 3 month old IPad Pro with IOS and App updated. WHY NO SOUND?
